Inception Aug 2020

The Concept Born

While drones are being used to solve a myriad of problems, it was soon evident that it can also become a problem in itself in the wrong hand. The threat from the sky was evident with the increasing security & privacy incidents. A comprehensive solution was the need of hour.

First 60N Microjet Prototype

The work on Micro turbojet engine design and development started. A full size engine was envisioned to propel a high speed drone. Prototype completed with 65% indegenous parts.

The 120N Class Prototype

After 60N class success, the work on next Micro turbojet engine design and development was completed with 80% indegenous parts.

The company was born

With the growing capability consolidation, EDITH defence systems was incorporated as a private limited entity.

Miniaturized Radar

Work to build a miniaturized radar system started. This system will be mounted on a drone to detect airborne threats in all weather condition.

The Hard-Kill C-UAS system

Work on a multi-shot Hard-kill automatic C-UAS neutralization system started. First prototype completed in Oct 2022. Fourth design iteration is in progress.

Higher class Microjet engine

Design work on 350N class micro jet engine started. Target indigenious content at 95%. This will power the anti-drone swarm deployer mothership "Veronica"

Handheld Short Range C-UAS

Spash400 conceptualized. A system which would be a personal hand held gun to defend private property. It will be very effective for low-flying targets like contraband smuggling drones.
